Anna's Corset - Final by deadlanceSteamworks Anna's Corset - Final by deadlanceSteamworks
This corset was made for a friend of mine. She will be wearing this corset to Fantasy Fest in Key West this October.

It's made of 12 ounce leather and requires no boning. This project took around 45-50 hours to complete. There are 20 bucks, and the back is laced with brass hooks and parachute cord.

I think you did an excellent job on this, the colors of the leather together and the pattern look great. To me I would only change some minor this like: The blue jars (eventhough they are absolutely cute) I would maybe put them more toward the hips/waist and even put another set on the other side, it looks a bit off balance when theres one set right below the breat.
Another thing I would change is the holes in the straps that are coming down the front, it looks to me like there are too many holes (but than again I like the little more simple ones) it just kind of feels as if theres a bit much to look at.
And finally I would change the shape of the breast cups, some women might like it yes, but to me it looks like it would be a little awkward. (but thats just me)
Keep up the good work, I hope that maybe one day I could possibly buy one of your works :) I love all things steampunk so keep it up!

Another thing, that lion head, is a cabinet knob isn't it. I built a cabinet not to long ago, and i used those. turned out really great, i like the creativity.

This one is actually a door knocker. I have a couple smaller knes that are for drawers too. I love them. I appreciate the compliments

I added them because I wanted a touch of color, just enough to make it pop. I think the blue really does well.

You could have also used a red potion, but you're right, the blue ones stand out more. :)

WOW! I love the design! It's a little futuristic but has quite victorian steampunk as well!

Thanks. I think it definitely has the more sci fi aspect of steampunk, which is sort of my style anyway =)

Thanks! I thought I'd use them like that, just to add a touch of color, and they really pop well.
