Work continues on my next gauntlet. This one is entitled The Aether Injector. Originally, this was a commission that the purchaser backed out of, but since the project was so cool, I just decided to finish it anyway. The material cost is a little high on this thing, and I'm almost 100 hours in...

I posted this gauntlet on my Facebook page, offering to sell it prior to completion for $1200, which is around half what the finished product will sell for. I just don't have the funds to complete the project right now, though thanks to a few donations, I'm getting closer.

When this is completed, there will be approximately 24 LED's on the gauntlet and a belt pouch attached to a hose to supply power from 3x D cell batteries.

Thanks! I can't wait to get this one done. The anticipation of seeing it light up 100% for the first time with it on is killing me. I just wish the purchaser hadn't backed out after I'd started working on it.

Originally, the commission was $800 just like the rest of my gauntlets, but since he backed out and I took this project on for myself, I've spent nearly $600 on materials and put over 100 hours into it. I am at a standstill until my next paycheck because I'm broke and can't afford the rest of the parts I need to finish it, which is why I posted it for sale for $1200, which puts my time at a little less than $6 an hour, but would give me enough to finish it and ship it out and recover my cost... if I finish it before it sells at the $1200 asking price, it'll get posted for sale for $2500, and generally speaking, these things don't last long at conventions... so it'll sell fast I'm sure, but I have to get it finished first... and I'm far to anxious to wait till payday lol.

Yeah, hopefully I can get it done in the next couple days. I had a few people donate me some parts and things that I needed to finish fabrication.
